A dilly of an author
Rena Jones has always loved writing. Her favorite
subjects in school were English and typing. As a teenager
and pen pal, she wrote to over 100 people around the world.
She created several pen pal related newsletters in the early
1990s -- one for pet lovers, another for coffee drinkers,
and a Christian-based one. Through the newsletters, she
connected people who enjoyed writing letters as much as
she did.
Rena, a home educator, has taught her children for
eleven years in their home in Bigfork, Montana, that she
shares with the four children, her husband, and two cats.
Her interests includes photography, camping, visiting
national parks, watching wildlife, and music. When she's
not writing, she's usually entertained by the crazy wildlife
visiting outside her mountain home.
A New Job for Dilly, with a planned release in 2009 by
4RV, is Rena's first published work. Illustrations will be
created by Lisa Oakman.
