A few words about Ransom

       Ransom Noble currently resides in
Des Moines, Iowa, but she was born in
Modesto, California and lived in
several towns along the way.
      However she graduated from both
high school and college in Iowa City,
Iowa.
      An early love of reading and the
sciences led her into writing and a
career in mechanical engineering.
      Believing determination can help
one attain any goal, Ransom Noble
constantly sets new goals for herself
and encourages others in their quests
for knowledge.
      She can often be found with her
husband and their friends listening
to music or playing games (every kind).
Sometimes affectionately referred to as
the "wasp whisperer," her "live and let
live" policy extends to stinging insects
and spiders. She always attempts to move
them peacefully outdoors.
      Her work includes "Qui's Contract,"
a short story that appeared in Ruins
Metropolis, June 2008 and The Art of
Science, which will be published in
2009 by 4RV Publishing.
